Upon returning to Cambodia after successful ceasefire negotiations between Cambodian army and Thai army in Malaysia, I received a phone call from H.E. President Donald Trump directly to congratulate the successful end of the immediate ceasefire negotiations between the Cambodian Prime Minister and the Thai Prime Minister this evening. His Excellency considers this task as an important task and that His Excellency follows directly.
I expressed my gratitude again to H.E. President Donald Trump for initiating and pushing for the expedite ceasefire negotiations and for US policies to co-host a special meeting in Malaysia today.
His Excellency understands that in order for this agreement to be fully implemented and sustainable, there is a need for a mechanism to closely monitor and monitor the performance of stakeholders, which is also a point of consensus at the special meeting.
In this sense, H.E. the President has agreed to engage the United States in monitoring the implementation of the Ceasefire Agreement and continue to cooperate with mechanisms prepared by Malaysia for the successful monitoring. H.E. President Donald Trump considers this task as an important task that he wants to see a permanent peace between the two countries.
Upon returning to Cambodia following the successful negotiation of an immediate ceasefire between the Cambodian and Thai armed forces in Malaysia, I received a phone call from His Excellency Donald Trump, President of the United States. He contacted me to extend his congratulations for this evening’s successful ceasefire negotiation between the Cambodian Prime Minister and the Thai Prime Minister. He considers this a crucial matter that he had been monitoring personally.
I expressed my renewed thanks to President Donald Trump for initiating and facilitating for a swift ceasefire negotiation and for the United States to co-organize today’s special meeting in Malaysia.
He believes that for this agreement to be fully and sustainably implemented, there must be a clear monitoring mechanism to oversee the implementation by the relevant parties. This was also a point of agreement of the special meeting.
In this regard, President Trump agrees for the United States to engage in the monitoring the implementation of the ceasefire agreement and to continue cooperating with the mechanism established by Malaysia for successful oversight.
The President attaches great importance to this ceasefire agreement, as he wishes to see lasting peace between the two countries.

Statement by Prime Minister Netanyahu:
“I would like to brief you on what we have done in Syria, and what we are going to do in Syria. We have set forth a clear policy: demilitarization of the region to south of Damascus, from the Golan Heights and to the Druze Mountain area. That’s rule number one. Rule number two is protecting the brothers of our brothers, the Druze at the Druze Mountain.
Both those rules were broken by the regime in Damascus. The regime sent troops south of Damascus, into the region that has to be demilitarized, and began slaughtering the Druze. That we could not accept in any way, and I therefore directed the IDF to take action — and take powerful action. The Air Force attacked both the gangs of murderers and the armored vehicles. I added another target, to also attack the Ministry of Defense in Damascus.
As a result of that powerful action, a ceasefire came into force, and the Syrian forces retreated back to Damascus. That is important.
This is a ceasefire that was reached through strength. Not by making requests, not by begging — through strength. We are reaching peace through strength, quiet through strength, security through strength — on seven fronts.
That will also be our policy going forward — we will not allow Syrian army forces to enter the region south of Damascus, and will not allow any harm to the Druze at the Druze Mountain.
I would like to share with you something that touched me deeply over the past two days. I received a message from Sheikh Muafak Tarif, the leader of the Druze community in Israel. He told me the following: “During the Holocaust, when you were being slaughtered, you, the Jews, cried for help and no one came. Today we, the Druze, are being slaughtered and we are calling for the help of the State of Israel”.
I told him that he’s right.
We have taken action, and we will continue to take action as necessary”.

“Dear citizens of Israel,
We are on day six of Operation Rising Lion.
We began this campaign in order to remove two existential threats to the State of Israel: The nuclear threat and the ballistic missile threat. We are advancing step by step to remove these threats.
We control the skies over Tehran. We are striking the ayatollahs’ regime with great force.
We are attacking nuclear installations, missiles, command centers and the symbols of the regime.
I must tell you that I speak with world leaders and they are very impressed by our determination and the achievements of our forces. They are also greatly impressed by you, citizens of Israel, by your strong spirit and by your steadfastness.
We are sustaining many losses, painful losses. But we see that the home front is strong. The people are strong, and the State of Israel is stronger than ever. I have directed the Government ministries to assist all those who have been harmed.
At the same time, the intense fighting in the Gaza Strip is continuing. We are committed to achieving the two tasks: Defeating Hamas and returning all of our hostages, living and deceased. We will not relent.

AN URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE NORWEGIAN NOBEL COMMITTEE REGARDING NARGES MOHAMMADI
The Norwegian Nobel Committee is alarmed by reports of serious threats against Narges Mohammadi, who was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2023.
Ms. Mohammadi was awarded the prize for her fight against the oppression of women in Iran and her fight to promote human rights and freedom for all.
In an urgent phone call with Jørgen Watne Frydnes, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee, Ms. Mohammadi stated that she has – both through her lawyers and through indirect channels – received warnings.
The clear message, in her own words, is that “I have been directly and indirectly threatened with ‘physical elimination’ by agents of the regime.”
The threats conveyed to Ms. Mohammadi make it clear that her security is at stake, unless she commits to end all public engagement within Iran, as well as any international advocacy or media appearances in support of democracy, human rights, and freedom of expression.
“The Norwegian Nobel Committee is deeply concerned about the threats against Narges Mohammadi and, more broadly, all Iranian citizens with a critical voice, and call upon the authorities to safeguard not only their lives, but also their freedom of expression”, says Jørgen Watne Frydnes, Chair of the Norwegian Nobel Committee.

This trophy is the Emblem of the Government of India which is an adaptation of the Lion Capital of Ashoka at Sarnath. There are four lions, mounted back to back, on a circular abacus, which itself rests on a bell-shaped lotus.
Ashoka ( c. 304 – 232 BCE), popularly known as Ashoka the Great, was the third Mauryan Emperor of Magadha in the Indian subcontinent during c. 268 to 232 BCE. His empire covered the largest part of the Indian subcontinent, stretching from present-day Afghanistan in the west to present-day Bangladesh in the east, with its capital at Pataliputra. A patron of Buddhism, he is credited with playing an important role in the spread of Buddhism across ancient Asia.
